The Tale of Johnny Town - Mouse

A charming story of two mice, two homes, and the discovery of where one truly belongs. When Timmy Willie, a country mouse, accidentally falls into a hamper and is whisked away to the city, he finds himself in the middle of a grand dinner party hosted by Johnny Town-Mouse. While the city life is full of fine food and excitement, the loud noises and the terrifying house cat are more than a country mouse can bear. Soon, it is Johnny's turn to visit the garden in the country. But between the quiet surroundings and the sudden "surprises" of rural life, he quickly realizes that city streets might be better suited for a sophisticated town-mouse.
Timmy Willie and Johnny Town-Mouse remain the best of friends, even if they prefer to live miles apart! Beatrix Potter's classic exploration of friendship and perspective, beautifully updated for a new generation.
