Repentance in the Qur’an – Abdul Khaliq Hassan Al-Shareef – Asalet Yayınları

Prof. Dr. Abdul'Khaliq Hassan Al-Shareef Ustadh Doctor Abdul'Khaliq Hassan al-Shareef is one of the great Ulama of the Azhar University. He was born in 1365 AH/1946 CE in the city of Bani Suef in Egypt. He has dedicated his life to Islamic Knowledge, Guidance and Reviving the Ummah spiritually and to this end he has written more than 40 works in different Islamic Sciences.Most notably of these in the field of the Science of Usul al-Fiqh. The Noble lineage of the Sheikh returns to the Imam Al-Hussain Ibn Ali (RA), the Grandson of the Messenger of Allah (SAW). The esteemed Sheikh is a member of the International Union for Muslim Ulama. The Sheikh travelled between Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Balkans spreading Islamic knowledge, building bridges of communication between Centres of Knowledge and Understanding in these countries. After the events which Egypt witnessed in the year of 1434 AH/2013 CE, the Sheikh performed Hijrah (migrated for the sake of Allah) to Istanbul and established there the Shareef Waqf and the Shareef Academy for Islamic Sciences, such that he dedicated himself to teaching Fiqh (Islamic Jurisprudence), Usul al-Fiqh, Hadith and Tafsir to the students of Higher Education and Doctoral Students. Sheikh Abdul'Khaliq Hassan al-Shareef is distinguished by his extreme effort to obtain a sound understanding of the Sharia Sciences and their implementation which corresponds with the Spirit of the Sharia and the needs of the present Age. This is in addition to his meticulous connection to the Methodology of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jamaah in his reception of the Texts of the Sharia. Additionally, the Sheikh is known for his deep Sufi dimension, as he gave care to Self-Refinement and accession through this in light of the Quran and Sunnah, and in relation to this many valuable writings.
